Collab began in a FaceTime call with a graphic design friend. I wanted her opinion on my portfolio and expressed my frustration with the job market. At one point she says to me, “it sounds like you’re looking for commnunity, you should start a networking event for other professional creatives”. At first I was hesitant, that has got exist already, right? But then I realized, if it existed, I would’ve been there. And then came Collab, what started out as networking events has since grown into a blossoming community of Philly creatives. We host networking events, workshops, share job postings, and more!
